We know that no two commuters are identical…so we give you options as to how you receive your alerts.
Some people just want to see them via our mobile solution…so we created this cool feature:
The Facebook-style counters (circled below) show you how many unread alerts you have on your Primary, Secondary and Tertiary lines.
When you click on Newsfeed, the window will expand…and you can click-through to read the alerts.

We continuously monitor the commuting landscape for anything which could cause you trouble…and we’ll send you A Special Message from Clever Commute as needed.
Of course, you control how (e-mail/text/web) and when (time-of-day/day-of-week) you receive these messages.

You are in control! – We added a menu option which allows you to Show/Hide various categories of messages.
More info: Our technology dynamically categorizes the content of the commuter alerts. Therefore, users of The Inside Track can opt in/out of messages based on the nature of the alert.
How to use: Log into The Inside Track. From the home page, click on the red gears / settings icon and select Show/Hide-categories.
So, if you don’t want to hear about seats are available…or updates regarding a sub-branch that you do ride, then use this feature to suppress those messages. FYI, even if you opt out of these messages, you may view them on the newsfeed feature of clevercommute.com/insidetrack.

Today is an excellent day for The Inside Track!
When it was virtually impossible to move inside the SRO Seventh Avenue waiting area, a quick check of the departure histories of the 3:02 PM express to Trenton told me there was a high probability that I should stand near tracks 1, 3 or 4.
Today’s track assignment was track #4.
No pushing or shoving necessary!
It was a bad commute home tonight…but this Inside Track user caught an early train…and got out of town before things got bad. Therefore, he did not need our services tonight…so he just hit our snooze button to suppress the alert messages. He said:
Snoozing alerts is a great feature. I was on the early train and got out before tonight’s troubles. Being able to stop alerts is wonderful!
